DIY Playpen

Are you looking for budget-friendly hacks for your kids? Here’s something helpful and economical for mom and dad out there! Why not spend your weekend creating a DIY playpen for your little one? All you need is 1000 Philippine Peso (20 US Dollars).

Mommy Carren posted this DIY project on her Facebook account and we loved it! She says that she and her husband decided to make this playpen/play yard for their little one where the three of them can fit in. They already have a small playpen but their 6-months old son easily got tired of using it because of the limited space.

Budget Wise and Great for Breastfeeding Moms

“Play yard that you can buy at the mall is expensive, that’s why it’s out of budget. I’m breastfeeding, so I can get inside the playpen and feed my son. (And mahal po yung play yard sa malls so out na talaga siya sa budget. And kasi bf momma ako, pwde akong pumasok sa loob ng playpen tapos dun sya i-feed.)” she also added.

Things you'll need:

- PVC pipes
- PVC elbow
- PVC glue
- Cable ties
- Net/Tool
- Foam/Mat

Instruction:

1. You'll need at least 2 PVC pipes and cut it based on your desired measurement.
2. Connect the PVC pipes to PVC elbow and put on PVC glue to make it much stronger.
3. With regards to net/tool, sew the edges. This will avoid rip offs.
4. Fix the net/tool into the PVC pipe using cable ties.
5. Put foam/rubber mat inside and let your baby enjoy!

First Batch of Postcards that I Sent

This year, I'm excited to start my new hobby - which is Deltiology! Also known as Postcard Collecting! So I joined an online project called Postcrossing. The rule is simple: you have to send postcards to be able to receive. The great news is this project connects people that love collecting postcards from all over the world.

As starter, I was able to send five postcards. But I sent out 10 in this first batch. The truth is, I joined Postcrossing last year and got five addresses but too bad, I was not able to send out their postcards. I felt sorry to those folks that was expecting my postcard, that's why I sent it out even if its one year late!

I want to share these postcards that I sent today! Enjoy!

My Sassy Girl Korean Movie Review

My Sassy Girl Korean Movie Review
My Sassy Girl (Hangul: 엽기적인 그녀; RR, Yeopgijeogin Geunyeo) is a 2001 South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Kwak Jae-yong and starring Jun Ji-hyun and Cha Tae-hyun.

It tells the story of a man's chance meeting with a drunk girl on the train which changes his life. It is ostensibly based on a true story posted on the internet in a series of blog posts written by Kim Ho-sik, which was later adapted into a novel.
